Why no built in drawers?
I like to change my shop layout to best suit my current project. I want to keep my benches light so I can move them easily. Mobile drawer units that fit under the bench make that possible.
Why no shelf under the bench?
I have found that like a built in drawer, a shelf under my bench is a convenient place to put stuff and avoid putting it where it belongs. A shelf just gathers junk. I have found that under-bench space is better used for storing large items used frequently.
