Paint Bolt Heads

- Allow the top to overhang the base at least 4” on all sides to allow clearance for clamping things to the top.
- You can make the legs from the laminated oak top material by gluing three lengths together. This is more work and heavier, but more attractive and stronger.
- The nut end of all mounting bolts can be hiden by countersinking mounting holes in the legs and covering them with plastic caps.
- When sealing the oak top be sure to seal the bottom as well. If you don’t the top is very likely to warp especially if you live in a humid region.
- Radius the bottom edges of the legs to make them slide easier on the floor and prevent splintering.
